One fated Saturday afternoon in November 2023, as Dom was packing up from the gym, he received a Hinge notification. It was a message from "Evelyn" commenting on his extremely attractive Bruno Mars costume from the previous Halloween. After some back-and-forth banter and a first date at Dom's cousin's restaurant, where the staff had no idea who he was, they ended up at a janky Long Beach dive bar where their love story would quickly flourish into something incredibly special. Throughout the year, Dom and Evelyn enjoyed hobbies together such as cooking new recipes, wine tasting, evening walks with the fur children Robin & Pici, and binge watching Game of Thrones. They eventually moved into their first apartment together in Torrance, CA. Fast forward to September 24, 2024, as Dom and Evelyn were seated for dinner in a romantically dim-lit villa in Montepulciano, Italy, he asked her to marry him. She was so ecstatic at first that she forgot to say "yes," but without hesitation wholeheartedly agreed once Dom asked for clarification. And the rest is history!
