The city is just a one-hour drive away, making it easy to explore the nation's capital. If you prefer not to drive, you can take the Metro subway from a nearby station in Ashburn, VA, and hop on the train into the city—no need to worry about parking. D.C. offers many free Smithsonian museums, including the National Museum of American History and the National Air and Space Museum. Don’t miss iconic landmarks like the White House, Library of Congress, and the U.S. Capitol, all located near the National Mall. Whether you’re into history, art, or culture, D.C. has something for everyone, and it's just a short trip from Round Hill—perfect for exploring while you're here for our wedding!
