WHERE IS THE WEDDING?
Answer
Our venue, Homewood, is a beautifully restored 1920s stone manor in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford (1.4 miles from downtown).

WHEN IS THE WEDDING?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5pm on Friday, June 21st 2024 and dancing will wrap up at 11pm. Please plan to arrive closer to 4:30 to ensure our celebration remains on schedule.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Answer
Attire is semi-formal or formal optional. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Bonus points if you wear black!

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR THE WEATHER?
Answer
It will be summer in Asheville, which means it could be rain or shine! We have no idea. We do know that it will likely be very warm either way. The majority of our event will be indoors but please be prepared to spend 1-2 hours outdoors. You could expect a daytime temperature of up to 85 degrees and a refreshing 65 degrees at night.

We have made the hard decision to not have kids at our wedding. We thank you for your understanding!

HOW DO I GET TO/FROM THE VENUE?
Answer
Ride-share options like Uber or Lyft are great ways for safe transport to and from the venue and around Asheville! There are also car rental options around town and at the airport. There will be a shuttle to take people to and from the wedding the day of the event. The shuttle will be departing from the front of The Restoration Hotel at 4:15pm Friday, June 21st. Please arrive early for the shuttle service to keep our schedule on track! There will also be return shuttles from the venue to The Restoration Hotel at 9pm, and again at 11pm. Anyone is welcome to utilize the shuttle services to and from the venue and The Restoration Hotel regardless of where they are staying.

WHAT ARE WE DRINKING?
Answer
We will have an open bar stocked with local beer and wine options. There will be plenty of delicious NA options if you aren't feeling boozy.

WHEN ARE WE EATING?
Answer
There will be Happy Hour bites beginning at 5:30pm, but we won't sit down to eat dinner until 7pm. Please plan your meals accordingly!
