We highly recommend exploring the campus of UofSC if you've never been there. The historic Horseshoe is one of our favorite places, and is also where we got engaged!
Cayce Riverwalk
This is another great place to go on a walk. If you enjoy exploring with Zillow, there are lots of beautiful homes along the trail (including Dawn Staley's!). This is also a great place for tubing!
Menkoi Ramen House
We ate here with a group of friends on the day we met! It's got great food at a great prices and is one of our favorite restaurants in Columbia.
Old Chicago
Old Chicago is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in town. It's a great place to watch a game with friends or celebrate a special occasion. The pizzas and mac and cheese are to die for!!
Cool Beans Coffee Co
Cool Beans is a favorite place for many college students to sit, get some work done, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee. They have excellent food too!
Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea
While new to the area, Sweetwaters is undoubtedly the favorite coffee shop of School of Music members. They have excellent tea and coffee, as well as lots of very unique beverages and foods.
Soda City Farmers Market
The Soda City Farmers Market is one of the best things to do in Columbia on a Saturday. Coffee, pastries, international food, antiques, pottery, flowers- everything you could dream of and more is there. And as a bonus, if you want to go somewhere with unlimited dogs to pet, this is the place!
