For a guy who hates surprises, Dolan sure knows how to pull one off flawlessly...ish. Thursday night, while Lisa was tucked in bed preparing for an early and full day of coaching at Orangetheory, Dolan (reasons at that point unknown to Lisa) was out celebrating the soon-to-be with his dad & brother. This made out to be an anxiety filled Friday for Dolan, questioning what answer he may be getting from his not so happy girlfriend. Months before, Dolan & Lisa's good friend and photographer, Kara, asked for Lisa to model some earrings & jewelry, mysteriously only having one Friday night available, September 27th. While some suspicion was raised, this wasn't anything out of the normal and why get your hopes up. Fast forward to Friday, September 27, 2019, Lisa came home (to Dolan's sheer terror - with her hair up, no makeup and in gym clothes) to Dolan in a suspiciously nice new shirt and shoes. As Kara and "model" Lisa carried on with the photoshoot, Kara spurred the idea of a family photo, coincidentally with Dolan and Cooper at the ready. After a few shots, Dolan dropped to one knee, Lisa all the while clinging onto Cooper, simply confused and terrified that he was outside. But the unexpected didn't stop there - Dolan had family and friends gathering at Lisa's parents for a surprise engagement party filled with more love than ever could be imagined. Leave it to a recognizable car out front, Lisa had time to collect herself before walking into cheering, hugs and friends and family who had traveled many miles to join in the celebration. We are so blessed for you all and can't wait to close 2020 and open 2021 with you all!
