Wedding Information For the Wedding Party: *Ebonie and Asiah will be arriving in Aruba on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 as the wedding couple is required to be on the property at least 2 days prior to the ceremony.* Wedding party members should plan to arrive in Aruba as early as possible on Thursday, August 6, 2026. We will be holding a wedding rehearsal (30-45 mins) and a rehearsal dinner (approximately 1.5 hours) that afternoon or early evening at one of the resort's restaurants. *The exact time of the rehearsal and dinner will be confirmed closer to the date.* Later that evening, on Thursday, (August 6, 2026) we'll be celebrating with bachelorette parties. Thank you all for your patience and support as we continue planning!
Bridal Showers : We're currently planning to host the bridal showers sometime in April or May of 2026. Ebonie and Asiah will be having separate bridal showers, as Ebonie's family and friends are located out of state. More details-including the exact date, time, and location-will be shared closer to the event. Formal invitations will also be sent out for the showers once everything is finalized! Save the Dates & Wedding Invitations: We're also in the process of planning our "Save The Date" photoshoot, so Save The Dates and formal wedding invitations have not been sent out yet. Expect for those to be sent out early in 2026. Don't worry- we'll make sure everyone receives plenty of notice once dates are confirmed! Stay tuned, and thank you so much for your patience and excitement as we continue planning everything!
Some people have asked us how long the flight is to Aruba. That information determines where you are located. For instance, if you live in Dallas Texas, the shortest flight time for a non-stop flight from Dallas to Aruba is 4 hours and 55 minutes. The flight between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) typically takes this long. Another example: If you live anywhere in Kentucky, there are currently no direct flights from Kentucky to Aruba. All flights involve at least one stop, which can increase the overall travel time. Flight times from Kentucky can be approximately anywhere from 6-8 hours. So because of the shortest time being approximately 5 hours for (Dallas, TX residents) and 6 hours for (Kentucky residents) with a NON-STOP flight, and the longest typically being approximately anywhere from 7-8 hours with a CONNECTING flight, we recommend booking the earliest flight possible with our travel agent. (Please note that these times do not reflect any possible layovers that may come up, since layovers are unpredictable). If you're apart of the wedding party and you're able to arrive in Aruba Wednesday, August 5th 2026 (which is the day that Ebonie and Asiah plan to arrive) instead of August 6th 2026, then that would be very beneficial since we have wedding, and dinner rehearsal, as well as Bachelorette parties scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2026. **Wedding Party Members : Please remember, this will be a pretty busy day at the Resort. So try to get on an early flight, and sleep on the plane! LOL! :)** **However, if Thursday, August 6, 2026 is the earliest you are able to get to Aruba, then that is fine. Just make sure it is an early morning flight that day because you will be on the plane for a good while. Aruba is also on a different Time zone. Please be mindful of flight times, timezones, and wedding event times when booking your flights with our travel agent.**
The Wedding Ceremony will be held outdoors at the stunning Baby Beach Terrace, overlooking the ocean. The Wedding Reception will be held indoors at one of the resort's elegant ballroom's.
Since this is a destination wedding taking place in San Nicolas, Aruba- where both the couple and all guests will be staying, no transportation will be necessary. The ceremony and celebration will be held within the resort, so guests will simply walk to the wedding location.
