FAQs

The Wedding Website of Matthew Juko and Devin Doherty
If you have any other questions let me know:)
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’ve put a lot of thought into our guest list, so we kindly ask that you only bring someone if their name is included on your invitation!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration.

Question

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available along the street of the venue! SEE ABOVE PHOTO FOR PARKING INFO. We kindly ask that you avoid parking directly in front of the hall or garden so our photos can stay picture-perfect.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel(s) to the wedding?

Answer

While we’re not providing transportation, most of the hotels are just a short distance from the venue. You’re welcome to drive, take an Uber, or even walk if you’d like! The walk from the Hawthorne Hotel is about 15 minutes through the charming downtown area.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wedding Attire is Semi-Formal -- Tuxedos and formal gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses! The ceremony will take place outdoors in the garden. The venue does not have air conditioning, but we’re hoping for beautiful late spring/early summer weather. We'd appreciate if you'd steer away from wearing dark colors. Think “garden wedding meets timeless, old-money elegance.”

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We’re hoping for contributions to help make our honeymoon extra special and start off our journey as a married couple! Any help toward our adventures will be greatly appreciated! We are also registered at Target if you'd prefer giving a gift.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive by 3:30 PM, half an hour before the ceremony begins. This will allow time for parking, finding your seat, and enjoying the beauty of the garden before the ceremony starts at 4:00 pm.
