FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kayla Masisak and Logan Doering
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding vibes are whimsical garden party, semi-formal. We invite guests to lean into the garden party theme by encouraging you to wear semi-formal attire with color and embrace patterns/textures! Lighter color suits and dress shirts if possible and floral/patterned/textured colored dresses or jumpsuits if you own them already. We kindly ask that guests do not wear blue jeans. Need some inspo? Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you only bring the guests listed on your invitation and RSVP. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make this an adults-only celebration. Take the night off and enjoy a well-deserved evening out!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony starts. Fashionably late doesn’t apply to weddings!

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking! Our wedding venue is at the Avent Orangery, located on the grounds of the Chateau Avalon Hotel. Once you enter the hotel driveway, just keep driving all the way to the back of the venue lot. We’ll have signs posted to guide you, so you can’t miss it. Easy and stress-free paved parking for a fun and whimsical celebration!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones and cameras away until after we say “I do.” We’ll share professional photos later!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You know it! We’ll have an open bar with a selection of beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Drink responsibly and hydrate between dances!

Question

I have dietary restrictions — will there be options for me?

Answer

The bride knows what it’s like to have dietary needs, so she’s gone above and beyond to make sure everyone feels cared for and included. Please let us know your restrictions ahead of time, and we promise a delicious, worry-free meal made just for you.
