We're Getting Married!

Yep, we met on Friday the 13th - and here we are! We met the classic millennial way: an online dating app, called Hinge. Nicole finally gave in and went on her VERY FIRST online dating app date, and met Randy! We had drinks at Psycho Suzi's in Minneapolis and then Nicole met Randy's roommates at Betty Danger's with a night filled with good drinks!

We were on vacation in Mexico for a friends wedding, after the wedding festivities were over, Randy knew it was go time. Randy knew the beach, at sunset, was one of Nicole's favorite places. Nicole's friend Cari (the bride that weekend) got Nicole on the beach at sunset for a photo opp. Next up was time for a cute photo on the beach of us and Randy dropped down to one knee. Nicole was 100% surprised with the engagement and we celebrated that night at the resorts Hibachi restaurant. We spent the next day traveling home to Minneapolis to a blizzard snow storm with multiple flight delays and detours. That left us stranded at the Duluth airport, where we slept on the ground. Talk about testing our patience and married life in the very first few days of being engaged!
