The Boathouse Trolley

A passenger trolley runs from The Boathouse to 72nd and Fifth Avenue every 15 minutes. The shuttle can also stop at 80th and Fifth Avenue to drop off guests who have parked at The Metropolitan Museum's parking garage.

While there are many flight options into JFK, Newark Liberty International takes about the same amount of time to get into the city and is often easier to get to the west side of Manhattan!

Getting to The Boathouse
Central Park is closed to traffic. Whether by car or by foot, to reach The Boathouse, you enter the Park at Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street and follow the traffic road to the right. It is a very pleasant walk and should take between three and six minutes.

Parking
Small parking garages may be found as close as 72nd and 73rd off of Fifth Avenue but we suggest using the Metropolitan Museum's garage at 80th Street and Fifth Avenue. It is large enough so that you will always find a space and it is open 24 hours.
