The dears met during their sophomore year of high school in St. Louis. Mitch remembers seeing her for the first time in Conway’s math class, and Anna remembers meeting Mitch at lunch where he had bought 21 Snickers bars from the school store. After he gave her one of his Snickers, she knew it was love. They became best friends and started dating their senior year. Many believed they followed each other to the University of Arkansas for college, but it was really thanks to some nice scholarships and in state tuition. Both majored in International Business and Marketing. While Anna was off studying (and getting robbed) in Mozambique and Mexico, Mitch was exploring Vietnam. They added some friends along the way thanks to Mitch’s fraternity and Anna’s ultimate frisbee team. After graduation, their lives took them to different cities - Mitch moved to Memphis, and Anna moved to Tampa. Just before the pandemic hit, Anna moved to Memphis to be with him, and there they got the best dog known to man, Patty. Post pandemic, they bought their first house together in Largo and enjoyed the beach life for a few years working up their tans. Yes, Patty enjoyed the sun and the heat. This year, they moved back to Memphis (who would have thought). Anna and Mitch love spending their time exploring new places, getting into new hobbies like rock climbing, and binging Bravo shows. After 11 amazing years, Anna and Mitch’s adventures together are just getting started!
