Maid of Honor
Katie & Kenna met when they were 3 years old, taking on gymnastics together. Despite living apart for the past 10 years, they have taken on every other aspect of life together since then. Kenna was also the one who told Katie that she would marry Cole Beck some day. At that time, Katie thought Kenna was crazy. These days, they travel to see each other when they can. But with these two, time and distance are nothing.
Bridesmaid
They met on the first day of college orientation at CSB/SJU. Quick friends lead to being roommates for the past three years. Justine has even agreed to live with Katie and Cole in Saint Paul next year. These three love to spend their time scaring the crap out of each other, drinking coffee, and having deep talks about psychology.
Bridesmaid
Being Katie's cousin is no easy task. Sydney had to endure years of being bossed around to get to this moment. But here she is, she survived! It feels like they become more similar everyday...to the point where Grandma Jan calls them the wrong name, constantly. They are two peas in a pods and will probably be goof balls together for the rest of their lives.
Bridesmaid
If you thought being Katie's cousin was a rough task...being Cole's sister was worse! Faith has been through 18+ years of dealing with her big brother, now she finally gets a big sister! But in all seriousness, Faith, Katie, and Cole are extremely close and love spending time being weirdos together. Fun fact: Every time they have tried wrestling, Faith kicks Katie's butt.
Bridesmaid
These ladies have known each other since junior high, but they didn't get super close until their junior year of high school. They quickly bonded over their love for knitting, Downton Abbey, and Kim's bread pudding. When together they feel like anything from old ladies to spunky young gals.
Bridesmaid
When they first roomed together, sophomore year, they were complete strangers. Hannah thought Katie was weird because she would sit in the living room watching wedding videos (and crying, of course). They bonded over deep, late night conversations in Lottie 101 and have been best pals ever since. Their favorite thing to do is watch movies, drink beer, and give each other foot rubs.
Bridesmaid
Ellen and Katie were also strangers when they moved into Lottie 101 sophomore year. That following summer they both studied abroad in the Galapagos Islands. While abroad they grew a close friendship that has only grown since then, in spite of their opposite personalities. Currently, Ellen and Hannah are working to educate Katie about the Marvel Cinematic Universe by hosting "Marvel Mondays" every week.
Best Man
Preston and Cole first met in elementary school in Minot. Unfortunately Cole had to move to Dickinson (where he met Katie!) and they lost touch for several years. They reunited their freshman year at NDSU and picked up right where they left off. They ended up living together for two years and sharing many great memories. Preston has been there for Cole throughout all his best and worst times in college. He is Cole’s best friend and best man.
Groomsman
Coltyn and Cole met in junior high when Cole first moved to Dickinson. Throughout high school they were extremely competitive in sports, constantly trying to out do the other. After high school, when sports ended, they found that they had a lot in common and became close friends. When Coltyn transferred to NDSU, they started spending a lot of time together. You can find these two drinking scotch, smoking cigars, and having intellectual conversations. Basically, they're a couple of old men in the bodies of 22-year-olds. Katie and Coltyn also go way back. They met in kindergarten and have been close ever since. Katie basically lived at Coltyn’s house growing up. And let’s just say they probably know way too much about each other.
Groomsman
Cole met Tommy freshman year of college at NDSU. Since they are both electrical engineering majors (aka- big nerds) they took a lot of classes together. This led to countless hour spent working on Dr. Green homework in the electrical engineering lab. If you ever can't find one of them, the first place you should check is the engineering building at NDSU, even if it is 4am. It sometimes seems as though they live their, surviving off bad jokes and energy drinks.
Groomsman
Cole and Jami met their freshman year in physics class at a NDSU. They formed a friendship by boding over the struggles of being engineering majors. However, they found they most enjoyed their time together outside of classes. They have spent many late nights together in downtown Fargo with Tommy. These nerds sure know how to have a good time.
Groomsman
Cole met Jake through mutual Minot friends at NDSU. One weekend, Cole went out on a limb and messaged Jake to hang out. They hit it off and have been buds ever since. Cole has spent several nights sleeping on Jakes couch after a long night out.
Groomsman
Matt is the longest friendship Cole has ever had. They met in early elementary school in Minot. Beck then, Cole spent lots of time on the Sys family farm shooting bb guns and playing video games. Like lots of Cole's Minot friends, they reunited in college when they both attended NDSU. They love to drink beer. And since Jake's couch is also Matt's couch, you get the idea.
Groomsman
Payton is Katie's best guy friend in the whole world! They have been bros since freshman year of college and studied abroad in the Galapagos Islands together. Katie spends a lot of her free time at Payton's apartment watching movies, watching the boys play video games, and talking Payton's ear off. Payton is the one who looks out for Katie, like her big brother, when Cole is not around. Katie and Cole's mutual friendship with Payton has made their time spent at CSB/SJU unforgettable.
