The couple met collaborating on a student-film set two weeks prior to Bryce's graduation where he would grab his diploma and fly back home to Washington. Sabine was very excited to see a fellow Star Wars enthusiast and complimented his shirt by saying, "I like your Star Wars shirt." The two quickly fell in deep conversation about their favorite films and realized they had way too much in common to not keep the conversation going. The two made plans to go mini-golfing but neither thought it would go anywhere beyond that since Bryce was a week away from moving across the country. The pair thought, at least they met a kindred spirit with a deep appreciation for the film 1917. After finding even more commonalities after the first date, the couple spent as much time as they could within the week. Their second date was at the local AMC and their final date was walking around Tempe before deciding that they wanted to stick together for as long as they could, even if that meant the rest of their lives!
