They first met playing soccer on opposing teams but luckily Craig realized how fun Amanda's team was and joined it soon after. Thanks to fun nights out and great friends, Craig was drunkenly invited to Amanda's birthday at the bowling alley. She may have been just a little excited when she saw his name appear on the scoreboard. That spring they ran into each other nonstop at various happy hours and could not stop talking, flirting, and laughing. Craig built up the courage to invite Amanda to one of his Bocce matches and Amanda gladly agreed to come and even skipped her own volleyball game to go get drinks after. After dating for a little over 2 years Craig decided to propose. He planned the proposal for when Amanda's Grandmother was in town from Missouri. He knew how close they were but also knew how much it would mean to have family around for the proposal.
