Kathryn’s Awesome older sister! Mother of Kaia (one of the flower girls and 2 years old) and Lochlan (born in December 2024), and married for 10 years to Joshua Olsby. Megan is a phenomenal sister and has endured many an evening providing emotional support and advice to Kat throughout the years. Talented both musically and creatively, Megan is a loving woman who cares so much for every person in her life. She is a patient and thoughtful person and Kathryn is truly blessed to call her sister!
Marisa Valladares

Kathryn’s best friend who moved to Florida less than 2 years after Kathryn did. They met at the church where both of their mothers worked, she is also Megan’s best friend! They have known each other over 15 years! Loved like a sister, Marisa is a kind, funny, and caring person who is on board for any challenge life can throw at you. She is a cornerstone of support for anyone lucky enough to meet her!
Elisabeth Handler

Kathryn's friend for over 12 years and adventuring buddies for life! Elisabeth and Kat met through Marisa and after a month-long road trip from Washington to Wisconsin, their friendship was sealed. Whether it be hiking, camping, road trips, or even scuba diving, Elisabeth is always in for any outdoor activity! Whether it be surprise visits for Kathryn’s birthday or just calling to check in, Elisabeth is an incredible woman. Anyone who knows her is blessed to have such a phenomenal person in their life!
Aimee Pacchiarotti

Kathryn met Aimee on her first trip to Florida. After introductions from Marisa, Aimee and Kat became fast friends. Her quick whit, creativity, and delicious baking skills made it easy for Kathryn to feel like family. She has also played an integral part in many surprise visits of friends and family for Kathryn and her family. She can keep a Secret!!!
Journey Kubicki

Dan’s niece and friend. Journey is both creative and witty, never letting her uncle get one over on her. She is 13 years old, an artist, and a fantastic soccer goalie. She is the funniest member of the Kubicki family and enjoys roasting her Uncle Dan.
Nate Kubicki
Best Man
Dan’s only brother and the smartest of the two. He is a wonderful person with a great understanding of many things and is often a source of wisdom for Dan to draw on. A man who wears many hats, one of which is photography. He skulked in bushes out in the cold to help Dan get photos of the engagement!
Chris Rosenberg
Groomsman
Dan and Chris first met circa 1990 at Koho-Rama, a yearly fishing derby. Chris was vacating a Port-O-Potty, and quipped while waving his hand across his face “Whew, do not go in there.” Dan knew they would be best friends after that. Chris is essentially the 3rd son of Lynne and is regarded as a brother to Dan and Nate.
Victor Plaisted

Victor and Dan have known each other their whole lives, Vic’s Uncle Gary and Dan’s Dad Ted were best friends. There were many family events and cook-outs where Dan and Vic would go on adventures. A favorite past time was to watch as Vic would always lose his left shoe in all sorts of places (personal favorite: sewer on side of Uncle Gary’s house). They have been close friends and brothers and helped each other through the years on the path of sobriety.
Alex Dekker

Dan’s nephew and friend (and Journey's brother). Graduated high school last year, Alex is currently working and creating beautiful pieces of artwork. Whether drawing or painting, Alex’s talents are easy to see. He is such a great person, Crystal and Nate really have been the awesome guides that he has needed in his life to help him become the phenomenal man he is today.
