Emily and Landon’s story began on an ordinary Monday night in Zuhl Library at NMSU. Emily was deep into studying, and Landon was nearby, sort of studying. After asking for help with a Calculus problem Landon passed Emily an invitation to a game night that would be held just three days later. Emily, along with some friends went to Landon's house where he grilled burgers (and burnt them) and they played several card games together as a group. This was just the beginning. Many group hangouts followed this including Topgolf competitions, pool parties, shooting, bonfires and exploring downtown El Paso before Landon finally asked Emily on a date. Only it was the night before Emily was returning to Australia for three months. Landon and Emily talked for hours, drove around the pecan orchards, ate at Sushi Freak and Crumbl before saying goodbye. After a long summer of getting to know each other over Facetime, Landon picked up Emily at the LAX airport and they roadtripped back to New Mexico together to begin their sophomore year. However, this would not be the end of long distance as Landon moved to Lubbock, so the Facetiming continued. Since then, Landon moved back to Las Cruces and Emily and Landon have shared many incredible memories together. We are so glad you can be with us to celebrate a lifetime together!
