Take a ferry to Whidbey Island and explore! Whidbey is about 30 miles north of Seattle, and lies between the Olympic Peninsula and the I-5 corridor. Washington State Parks located on the island include Deception Pass State Park (the most visited state park in Washington), Joseph Whidbey State Park, Fort Ebey State Park, Fort Casey State Park, Possession Point State Park, and South Whidbey Island State Park. There is also a series of county operated parks throughout the Island including: Saratoga Woods, an 120 acre park on the south end of the island that has equestrian, biking and hiking trails. Its also features include an abandoned air field and a glacier erratic. Double Bluff County Park, a 3/4 acre park with beach access, picnic area and off leash dog park.
Beaches and Light houses! Point No Point is an outcropping of land on the northeast point of the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington, the United States. It was the location of the signing of the Point No Point Treaty and is the site of the Point No Point Lighthouse.

Glass Beach is tucked away near Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula, and according to Blair, it’s one of the best shorelines in Pacific Northwest for sea glass hunting. Glass Beach is a 5.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Port Townsend, Washington that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
