It was the fated click of a button that wrote the rest of their life. On a random day, Prestin took the first leap and reached out while Zephany was in her final year of high school. Maybe Zephany thought it was weird that a boy from her home island had suddenly made contact despite the distance. Maybe she found it sweet that it was a chance he wanted to take. Maybe she was panicking and worried about how awkward her reply would be. Before they knew it, they were building their relationship with even more maybes in between.
