How to even start telling a story of how we met and got to today? It’s not a long story but it’s still a story. We met in 2011. As “kids” on social media, it was typical to add others from school (whether you physically knew them or not). Well, Danny and Karina had some exchanges on Facebook— which they had no idea about until year 3 of their relationship. Later in December, Karina was going through a pretty difficult time and that’s when Danny, unknowingly was someone Karina needed to open up to. He wished her a merry Christmas, the year that was not a very merry Christmas for her. She explained the situation and they continued to chat throughout their Winter Break of Junior year. Coming back to school from winter break, Karina and Danny got to know each other a bit more. A couple friends gave them a little push to start dating. From then, they have been with each other through the good, bad, and stressful events that life throws at them.

Leave it to Karina to have a Bad Bunny themed birthday/celebration after completing her credential program. Of course, Karina had a feeling something was happening but still decided to slap on a temporary tattoo of a santa bad bunny on her LEFT HAND! Surrounded by Karina’s closest friends and family, Danny proposed during a very special month.
