Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—the world’s largest rotating tram car—takes you to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area. The 10-minute ride up offers spectacular views of the valley below!
Joshua Tree National Park
Joshua Tree is located approximately 1 hour from Palm Springs, where the Mojave and Lower Colorado deserts join to form the park. This is a bit of a trek so if you're planning to visit this beautiful national park, plan on leaving early in the morning, allowing for time to drive through the park and see lots of species of cactus, large rock formations and trees--worth the drive!
