We recommend arranging transportation in advance or checking with our Travel Agent (Chad 260-341-5483) Taxis and ride-sharing (like Uber) are also available right outside the airport. Tip: After exiting customs, walk past the timeshare offers to reach the transportation area.

January is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Puerto Vallarta! You can expect sunny skies, low humidity, and temperatures around 75–85°F (24–29°C) during the day and cooler evenings in the mid-60s°F (18–20°C). We recommend packing lightweight clothing for the day, plus a light sweater or jacket for breezy nights—especially if you’re by the water. Yes—and it’s one of the best times! January falls right in the middle of humpback whale season, so you may even catch a glimpse of them breaching in the bay!
