Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony will be held inside the beautiful Colvin House. Afterward, the celebration moves across the property - you'll have full access to the courtyard, the basement speakeasy, and the coach house for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.

Please let us know if you can make it by RSVPing directly on our website! You'll find the tab at the top of this page, or you can go directly to https://www.zola.com/wedding/djandmarisa2026/rsvp Kindly RSVP by May 23, 2026 so we can finalize our plans. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Valet parking is available at the Malibu Condominium, just north of Colvin House on the east side of the street at 6007 N Sheridan Rd. 0 to 1 hr. $8 1 to 2 hrs. $12 2 to 4 hrs. $16 4 to 10 hrs. $20 10 to 24 hrs. $28 Colvin House can validate for $2.00 off.

What’s the weather forecast?
Answer
While we can't predict the exact weather, it is likely to be a warm summer evening! To keep you comfortable, our ceremony will be held inside with full air conditioning. The cocktail hour, dinner, and reception will move outside, where there is a lot of shade across the grounds. If you need a break from the warmth at any point during the outdoor celebration, you will also have full access to an air-conditioned basement speakeasy and a coachhouse. Since a good portion of the night will be outdoors, we recommend dressing for a warm night, and lightweight fabrics are highly encouraged!

What is the dress attire?

Given that it will be a summer wedding and likely quite warm, we're suggesting semi-formal summer wedding attire. We want everyone to be comfortable while still feeling festive!
