We’re tying the knot!

(Kendall’s story) We met at our place of work. Southwest International Trucks. We saw each other every day and barely talked due to working in different departments. One day, I stole some snacks from him and we had a conversation. I had been a single mom for 5 years and him a single parent of two for 12 years. I quickly learned about Layla and her volleyball and we discovered we both had boys the same age, Ryland & Radley. The chemistry was real and the interest was there. At the time, Radley would put two fruit snack packages in my purse everyday as a surprise. He’s always doing cute stuff like that, such a giver! Anyway, I wanted DJ to ask me out so I wrote down my number on a fruit snack package & put it on his desk (not knowing he had a girlfriend at the time) and even though it wasn’t that time.. I knew at some point there would be a time where I would date this man. I’m so happy that not too long later he was texting me letting me know of a brake light I had out on my jeep and and few weeks later we were on our first date and he even replaced my brake light for me! This guy is one of the best I’ve ever known and I’d do absolutely anything for him and our children. I know he would do the same for me. I never thought I would have ever had this much love surrounding me but, I’ll never let it go. 🤍

(DJs story) I spent days searching for the perfect ring. She gave me a few ideas so I knew I had to find one she would love! I finally found and ordered it right away. When I found out it was getting shipped to my moms house, I found an excuse to get her over there. I had my sisters distract her while it was being delivered & I talked it over with my mom. Right then, I decided I didn’t want to wait any longer and had my whole family gather around her while I got down on one knee. I asked her to make me the happiest man and marry me? Everyone cried and was so excited and she even forgot to say yes, guess I left her speechless. It was one of the best days of our lives and I can’t wait to marry this woman! Fly Eagles Fly!
