Like all modern day romances, technology played a big part in how Denise and Brian met. It was a gorgeous, sunny San Francisco winter day and we met up for lunch, with the plan to hit up the aquarium afterwards because Brian knew Denise had a thing for sea creatures as she just came back from a scuba diving trip. Unlike most first dates, the time flew by and the next thing we knew, we saw each other 3 more times that first week. Meant to be!

On July 22, 2017 we officially made Portland our new hometown and Brian made sure "move-in" day was a memorable one. Having just returned from a whirlwind business trip to Sydney, Denise flew to Portland to meet Brian, who had been there for 2 weeks getting settled in. Always the gentleman, Brian offered to pick Denise up from the airport, with a box of Blue Star donuts in hand. When we got home, a very jet-lagged and oblivious Denise walked into a house full of roses and a beautiful ring waiting for her on the top of our staircase. After a much needed shower and nap, we celebrated our engagement at Little Bird, an intimate bistro in downtown Portland. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
