Museums galore: Smithsonian museums all are free! Some favorites include the Air and Space Museum, African American History Museum (check online in case a reservation is needed), National Portrait Museum, National Gallery of Art, and Natural History Museum. The Spy Museum is also a fun one but requires purchasing tickets. Monuments on the National Mall: While they’re somewhat close together, distances on the Mall are further than they appear... Highly recommend renting a city bike or Lyft/Lime scooter to zoom between the monuments! Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., Washington, and Jefferson memorials are all really beautiful. Bars: If you’re looking for a night out on Sunday in DC, Blagden Alley NW, U Street NW, 14th Street NW, and the Wharf all have a bunch of bars and breweries. King Street in Old Town Alexandria also has a few cocktail bars and a beer garden. Restaurants: DC has a great foodie scene, so there are tons of great restaurants to try out!
