We’re Getting Married!

Our story began in the most unexpected way—on the first day of classes at Saginaw Valley State University. Dillon was starting his last year, and Lyric, her first. We met in the cafeteria, completely unaware that this chance encounter would change our lives forever. As Dillon wrapped up his senior year studying criminal justice and playing football, Lyric continued her studies in public health. The following year, Dillon pursued his football dreams overseas, while we maintained a long-distance relationship. Though the miles between us were many, they only made our bond stronger. When Dillon returned to the States, we moved to Detroit and began building our lives together. Lyric launched her first business, an online boutique, and later started her lash business. Dillon embarked on a career in coaching, mentoring college athletes. We traveled together, grew together, and in 2022, bought our first home, along with welcoming two furry members into our family—our beloved dogs, who complete our little pack. On Valentine's Day 2024, Dillon proposed on a rooftop overlooking the Houston skyline, and the rest is history! Now, we’re excited to take this next step in our journey together, surrounded by our closest friends and family. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
