We met 30+ ago when Kevin and friends needed a place to stay for the weekend. Darryle and Wendy graciously offered their home and so began a friendship that lasted decades. When Kevin and Naomi began their new life as a couple, the Dixon’s were there to share in the joy. And so began a life of refreshing visits, great vacations and hilarious conversations as couples. Even though grief due to the loss of our mates in death would be a common denominator for us both, it wasn't the chief thing we had in common. Our first loves have prepared us for the next love. What a blessing to recognize each other when we did. Someone we’ve known. Someone with history. Someone with integrity. Someone with loyalty. Now an old friend becomes a best friend. And a new adventure begins.
