Like many modern love stories, Hayden and Divya’s began online — on Hinge, to be exact. After both braving the world of online dating, they were simply hoping to find something real. Their journey almost didn’t begin, though. Hayden bailed on their originally planned first date (allegedly sick), and by the time he asked for a follow-up, Divya was ready to cancel altogether. Thankfully, her sister Pooja convinced her to give it a shot, advice that turned out to be life-changing. That “first” date, over a couple of wines, was easy and fun, leaving them both curious for more. By the second date, though, Divya’s mind was flooded with uncertainty (as every good love story requires at least one plot twist). But fate had other plans. On their third date, armed with cheap dumplings, a hilariously bad game of bowling, and cocktails, everything just clicked. It was a night they’d never forget, and from that moment on, they both knew this was something truly special. Since then, they’ve spent the past three years laughing, traveling the world, and hitting milestones — from surviving each other’s quirks to buying their first home and, of course, getting engaged!
