We met online. The not-so-secret is out. For the longest time, with the exception of family and close friends, we didn't tell anyone the true story out of fear of judgement. Although, not so uncommon now, when we first met, it was. We love that we met online as it gave us the opportunity to really get to know each other before deciding if this was something we both wanted to pursue. Our first meeting was at a sushi restaurant in Brighton, MI and after the initial awkwardness of meeting someone for the first time, it was a great date. Immediately it was like we were old friends catching up and laughed the entire time. We still reference things that happened from the day; from Michelle dropping sushi with her less than stellar chopstick skills to Anthony sweating profusely as only he can. By the end of the date, our relationship became official and would begin over two years of long-distance dating. 12/10/16 <3
