Let me take y'all back man, as I do so well. Circa 2014 Jacoby and Diva first met working at Buffalo Wild Wings in Houston, TX. He was the new guy with the company that garnered a lot of attention from the current staff. However, the one person that paid him no mind at all was Diva, in fact you could consider the two to be enemies at the time. During their initial encounter, Jacoby as smooth as always approached Diva to introduce himself and in traditional Diva fashion she cursed him out because he was apparently "in her way." The two would argue like school children that have crushes on each other but nothing more. During their tenure working together they developed a decent relationship due to working so closely together. Time would go by and the two would frequently hang out with mutual coworkers, but just as friends. A couple of years later, they found themselves working together again and spending lots of time together enjoying each other's company outside of work. They grew closer as friends keeping their relationship strictly platonic..until that one faithful night in March changed everything. Both parties were out with friends when their paths crossed, they exchanged pleasantries and drinks while kicking it. Conversation was flowing ever so smoothly to the point the two agreed to go on a date to "see where things could go." The couple had their first date at Painting with a Twist in March of 2017 where you can imagine things got wild, with that the rest is history. Throughout the years they've built a love, friendship and admiration for each that is ever evolving. In 2021 Jacoby knew that the life he wanted would mean nothing if Diva wasn't by his side. So at her birthday party he decided to surprise everyone by proposing to her in front of their close friends and family. The couple is beyond excited to continue their journey in Cancun, Mexico on February 24th 2024 and can't wait for everyone to be apart of it.
