Amanda moved from Scottsdale Arizona to Atlanta Georgia in October of 2021 with her job at Carvana. The company was expanding and Amanda jumped at the opportunity to try out a new state so she loaded up her Camry with only the essentials and her handsome co-pilot Beans the Bulldog. Not knowing anyone from Georgia, Amanda downloaded Hinge for potential dates to put herself out there and have friends to explore the new town with. The morning after Christmas, Amanda matched with Chris, a hunky mysterious looking Detective for Cobb County Police Department. Being a true crime lover herself, Amanda was intrigued at his career choice and decided to send him a message! They chatted back and forth on the app and Chris let Amanda know that tonight was his only day off for the next two weeks so it was either now or be pen pals for a couple weeks. Amanda was intrigued to find out if that was just his smooth way of getting quick dates so she said, “why not, let’s do it!” A few hours later, they met at HobNob Neighborhood Tavern where Amanda had 2 shots of fireball ready when Chris walked up to the bar. Shortly after the first date, Amanda quickly found out Chris was telling the truth about working all the time but he always made time for a quick lunch before going to work or a late night Waffle House meet up. The duo has been inseparable ever since! One year later the couple moved in together to take the relationship to the next level. They spent their free time traveling the world together visiting places like Mexico, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Vegas, Florida, and their favorite place to frequent, Neyland Stadium to cheer on the Volunteers! On July 5th, 2024 Chris decided it was the right time to express his commitment to their future together, and he proposed on the beach in Treasure Island Florida during a family vacation. The couple will spend the next year planning the wedding of their dreams with all of the most influential people in their love story. They are excited for the day they get to say “I Do” surrounded by everyone they love the most!
