Alex and I found each other on Hinge during the pandemic. After a couple of months of waiting for me to respond, I finally took the leap to reach out. His warm smile and charming personality captivated me, and from that moment on, our connection deepened. As an intern at UC San Diego, I was hesitant to meet in person. Despite the distance, those hours spent together felt effortless and meaningful. Eventually, after many virtual dates, we decided to merge our Covid bubbles. This choice opened the door to a beautiful new chapter in our lives, filled with love, joy, and shared moments that strengthened our bond. Of course, our journey hasn’t been without its hurdles. We’ve faced job changes, graduations, and health challenges, but each obstacle has only strengthened our commitment to one another. We’ve learned that together, we can face anything life throws our way. What makes our love truly special is our acceptance of each other’s imperfections.
