Downtown Frederick
Visit Downtown Frederick for plenty of shopping and tons of yummy food! Some of our favorite food spots are: Brewers Alley, The White Rabbit, Cafe Nola and Cucina Massi! We also recommend a stroll along Carrol Creek and through Baker Park. For our music lovers definitely check out the Rock and Roll Graveyard and book worms pay a visit to the Curious Iguana.
Gambrill State Park
The spot where Clay proposed! We love to bring out of town friends and family here since it is so close to the house and gives a glimpse into the beautiful landscape western Maryland has to offer. There are plenty of hikes to choose from or you can drive up to the overlooks for a quick trip.
Breweries and Wineries
The Frederick area is not lacking when it comes to nice spots to grab a drink. There are plenty of spots downtown but if you're game for a scenic drive, some of our nearby favorites are: Springfield Manor Winery, Vanish Brewery, Harpers Ferry Brewing, and Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard (which is on the same mountain as the wedding venue).
