- Schaar’s bluff and Spring Lake Park in Hastings offer some lovely trails along the river. - Frontenac state park is between Redwing (a super cute river town to check out if you have time) and Lake City has some awesome trails along the bluffs that are really beautiful with the changing colors. You’d also be near Stockholm, WI which is a charming “little Sweden” town with some great pie! - Minnehaha Falls in the twin cities is a great urban trail with a beautiful waterfall
They offer e-bike and pontoon rentals! We enjoy e-biking across the bridge to Prescott for a bite to eat, or out to Schaar’s Bluff trail system for some scenery (and wild bison sightings!)

Just across the bridge, you can access a whole new state! Prescott has a couple of beach areas as well as quite a few local watering holes and eateries along the St. Croix River.
This mall needs no introduction! Whether you want to shop til you drop, get an adrenaline kick at the indoor amusement park, or check out the indoor aquarium; you can easily spend a day here exploring. It’s about a half hour from Hastings, though there is a train connecting it to the airport.
Minnesota is known as the home of the “juicy Lucy.” The jury is out on where the original juicy Lucy was born but top contenders in the twin cities are: Matt’s Bar and Grill, The Nook, or the 5-8 Club.
