9:00 am - 1:30 pm
The day will begin with the Baraat at 9AM (hopefully outdoors) — a lively procession where the groom arrives dancing with his family and friends. This is followed by the ceremony, which takes place under a mandap (indoors) and includes meaningful rituals like the mangal pheras (circling the sacred fire) and the saptapadi (seven vows). Expect music, laughter, color, and a lot of love. The ceremony typically lasts about 1.5–2 hours, and there will be lunch served. Please come dressed in Indian formal attire if you have it, or American formal/dressy attire in festive colors. We can’t wait to share this day with you!
