Uptown Normal
Uptown Normal has so many small businesses, cute shops, and a historic theater that plays older movies year-round. It really is its own little city, and so nice to explore, if that's your cup of tea. They also have lots of events held uptown, so make sure to check out what they have going on!
DESTIHL Brewery and Beer Hall
Easily some of the best food you can get in the area. Becca recommends trying their banana cream pie. Michael loves their Bavarian-style pretzels!
Miller Park Zoo
The zoo is a perfect activity for a summer day in this area! It's surrounded by Miller Park, which is equally awesome if you love strolling in nature.
David Davis Mansion
If you know Becca, you know one of her favorite things is to explore historical buildings. Bloomington-Normal has a few really neat, mid-Victorian era homes in the area. One of them includes the David Davis Mansion. If you have time, stop in for a tour!
Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market
If you’re in town Saturday morning, the Bloomington Farmers’ Market is worth a stop! It's open 7:30 a.m. to noon in the downtown square, and you can find coffee, fresh produce, baked goods, meats, and all kinds of fun local vendors.
