Dionne and Mark met a couple of times over the past 10 years. Initially, the couple was introduced at the very place they will officially begin their lives together, at Mark's brother's wedding at their parents' home. The two then developed a customer-client relationship when Dionne worked at Neiman Marcus and Bottega Veneta. But the third time was the charm. The re-introduction that began their relationship was made through two of their closest friends, Shayla and Craig Battle, at Craig's surprise birthday party, 3 years ago. After their first date, which lasted hours, the rest was kismet, they've pretty much been inseparable from that point on.
