Bride
Keith and I met at church several years ago. We weren't very close, but we would chat every once in awhile if we saw each other. Then, I moved to New York for a year and a half. When I came back, several people suggested that I consider dating Keith. But, I didn't want to approach him about it and I thought he wasn't interested anyway. But, then, one day I got a text from him sharing a cookie recipe. He knew I liked to bake and that led to our first hang out session, which was baking cookies together on New Years Day 2016. Keith knew the direct route to my heart - baked goods. :-) The rest, as they say, is history.
Groom
Several people approached me about dating Dionna (even before she moved to New York). After the last person said something, I realized I might be missing out on something great. One day, she was handing out homemade cookies at church and gave me some. So, I told her that I bake too and decided that the way to get to know Di was to challenge her to a bake off. Of course, I won. 3 days later, I knew I wanted to take this to the next level. I brought her an orchid as a symbol of something that we could nurture together, just like our relationship.
