We finally beat the distance!

We met back in 2009 in one of our church’s communities. Both of us had partners back then so we didn’t really talk to each other. Then, in 2011 at an event which was held by the same community, we met again. That’s when it all started. We started of as friends (well he’s more like my therapist because he’s a really good listener 💕) and ended up here today. He thawed my frozen heart with his patience and kindness. In October 13th, 2012 he decided to give me a day full of surprises. It started with balloons in my car, and ended with my favorite cheesecake & a bouquet of my favorite flowers, Lilies. He then asked me to help him.. Help him & be his girlfriend of course 💕

I moved to the United States since 2015, and he needed to stay in Indonesia. We’ve been in a long distance relationship for almost 4 years now. It sure is not an easy ride, and each day is a struggle, waiting to be together again, but everything is totally worth it. Well, nothing worth comes easy 🙈

One day, just right before I was about to leave him again (going back to the states), he got down on one knee in front of all the strangers at the airport. He started saying the words, "Would you mind using my name as your last name?" I couldn't do anything but crying tears of joy.. My lips couldn't say anything but thank you.. I saw his teary eyes, and the rest is a history after that. 💍
