February 14, 2019, on Valentine's day, Dion scheduled a romantic candlelight dinner at Eddie Merlot’s in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The private dinner for two was filled with a beautiful ambience and after they were done eating their food and dessert, Dion and Mallory spend time talking, laughing and enjoying one another's company. Dion excused himself from the table to go to the bathroom (he probably was trying to prepare himself to pop the question) and when he returned he walked around the table near the side of Mallory’s chair and got down on one knee. Dion looked at Mallory and said I love you so much and asked if he could spend the rest of his life loving Mallory and the girls, ( Madison and Aubrey)Of course, she said yes.
