Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are asking our guests to dress up with us! Formal wear is required to our White Wedding on 8/23/2025 (Saturday). Formal dress code for women includes, floor length gowns. For men this includes suits and tuxes (no jeans). We also ask that guests avoid colors reserved for the bride: cream, ivory, or white.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones as much as you do! However, we have decided to keep our wedding adult only, with an exception to those children in the wedding.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP by June 20th, 2025. After this date, our final guest list will be submitted, and we will no longer be able to accommodate any changes. No exceptions.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both ceremonies are indoors.

Question

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our website “Travel” tab to see the hotel in the area. Those listed with a block option are offering a discounted rate when you call and book under “The Agbontaen Wedding”.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage guests to take photos during the ceremony, however we do ask that you are mindful of those around you as well as our professional photographers. We ask that you please refrain from entering the aisles during the ceremony and silence your phones.

Question

What if I can no longer attend?

Answer

We understand that life happens, and your presence will truly be missed! We ask that you contact either the mother of the bride or the mother of the groom as soon as possible to notify the families of the change.

Question

What time should I arrive for the white wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 2:15pm. While we would love to see your faces at the ceremony, no one will be allowed entry into the ceremony once the bridal party has started lining up.

Question

What if I didn’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as “no”. We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What is the color for the public on Saturday?

Answer

Any shade of blue.
