Can I swim on the beach?

Answer

The beach located near the hotel is NOT swimmable.

How long is the wedding weekend?

Answer

We will be starting events as early as Thursday May 7th. The wedding ceremony and reception will be held Saturday.

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to accommodate for more guests, if you have an option to add a plus one, your RSVP will let you know or reach out to one of us!

Do I have to stay at the hotel recommended?

Answer

No! You and your plus one, do not have to stay at the hotel where the wedding will be held, but it would be convenient and strongly recommended as it is all inclusive. If you do not stay at the hotel you will have to pay for a day pass (about $200) to enter the day of the wedding.

What if I need a larger room size for my Family?

If the provided room type does not work for your stay size please reach out the Travel coordinator and she can help.

What if I want to stay longer?

Answer

If you would like to stay longer then please indicate that on the hotel booking form. Our travel coordinator will check with the hotel to ensure availability.

Do I need to purchase the travel insurance?

Answer

No you do not, but it is highly encouraged.

What if I see that the rooms are cheaper on the Hardrock booking website?

Answer

If you do see this please let the travel coordinator know and she will reach out to the hotel.

What if I missed the first deposit deadline for booking a hotel room?

Answer

You can still go and book your room but you will not have the option for 3 payments.

We will be sending detail of the wedding weekend to those who have rsvp'd a few months prior to the wedding (Jan timeframe).

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), about 35–40 minutes from the Hard Rock Hotel.

Will there be transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Yes! If you plan to stay at The Hardrock, there will be a transportation bus to take you to and from the hotel. You will just have to provide your flight information to our travel coordinator

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. No passport = no margarita. Make sure the expiration date on your passport does not expire within 6 months after your travel date.

Do I need a visa?

Answer

If you are from the U.S. or Canada, you only need your passport. Other nationalities should check Mexico’s entry requirements.

What’s included in the stay?

Answer

The hotel is all-inclusive. Your room rate covers food, drinks (yes, alcohol), pools, beaches, and most entertainment. Spa treatments and certain excursions are extra.

Do I need pesos?

Answer

U.S. dollars are widely accepted, as well as credit card payment, but having some pesos for tips or local shops is handy.

Is Uber is available

Answer

Yes, Uber is available in Cabo, But getting picked up from the resort is not. There will be Taxi's available to leave the resort. You can still get dropped off to the resort.
