There's so much to do in La Republica Dominicana! If you are staying at the resort from Friday to Sunday/Monday just enjoy the resort. It's a BEAUTIFUL all-inclusive hotel with plenty of activities and relaxing to do.
If you're in the country for a few extra days you can book excursions at the resort. They have many great options.
We recommend visiting Los Altos De Chavon (https://www.casadecampo.com.do/experiences/altos-de-chavon/) 15 minute drive or take a 1.5 hr drive to the country's capital Santo Domingo. Specifically to the Zona Colonial (founded in 1496 by Bartolome Columbus). It's a beautiful quaint colonial city with amazing restaurants and bars. Our personal favorite is Maraca!
