Who is invited to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Anyone that is invited to the wedding is welcome to attend the welcome party! We are so excited for everyone to be in town and cannot wait to see and celebrate with you all.

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding please wear cocktail attire. The ceremony will be outside and our venue has multiple decks to enjoy views of the river during cocktail hour and the reception so please plan accordingly for a Fall evening. For the welcome party please wear dressy casual. For women - sundresses, jeans and a nice top, etc. For men - jeans and a polo, khakis, button up. Whatever you are comfortable and feel good in!

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

We will have buses pick up at our two hotel blocks (Hilton Garden Inn and Portsmouth Courtyard) to take guests to the venue and return back to the hotel/after party following the wedding: Picking up at Hilton Garden Inn: 3:30-3:45pm Picking up at Courtyard: 3:50-4:00pm There will only be one pick up at each hotel so please ensure you are in the lobby/outside prior to the beginning of your hotel pick up time listed above to guarantee you make the bus. *There will be shuttles every 30 min from 11:00pm-1:00am to takes guests from the after party back to the courtyard hotel Additionally - We highly suggest taking a rideshare so everyone arrives and departs safely. Due to Portsmouth, NH and the surrounding area being smaller towns, we STRONGLY recommend pre-scheduling your rideshare to pick you back up at the end of the night.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend you arriving 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone has time to find a seat.

Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved two hotel blocks in Portsmouth. Both options can be found under the travel tab with direct links to book! Due to limited availability, please only book a room if you are confident you will be able to travel in to celebrate with us. Rooms must be booked by September 2nd to receive the discount!

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who were formally invited. If you have received a plus one, their name will be specifically addressed on your formal invitation and noted when you RSVP.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Besides our flower children and ring bearers who will be in attendance for our ceremony only, our wedding and welcome party will be adult-only events so that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves!
