What is the color scheme?

Answer

Navy Blue, Blush, and gold. Guest's table cloths will be in crushed silk Navy blue color, just FYI in case you don't want to blend in with the table and magically disappear 🪄

what to wear and what not to wear?

Answer

Do wear: Cocktail dresses/Sri Lankan Saree for the ladies and suit and tie for the gentlemen. Our wedding has a vintage theme, think the Great Gatsby, so dress to impress! Do not wear: Ladies, please do not wear a white dress for obvious reasons 😬 Gentlemen, please do not wear casual clothes. We’ve seen these happen before and we will turn away guests who do not follow the dress code 😡

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes, you can bring your kids if you have sufficient plus-ones granted to you in your RSVP. Please do let us know if you need a kid's meal when you do the RSVP under the “diet restrictions” text box. For new parents, children 1 year or younger will not need a meal from our caterer, although we highly recommend for you to have someone look-after / babysit your newborn 👶🏻. The reception might be a stressful environment for them, and we would also want you to enjoy the night with us. There is no event childcare in Richard Nixon Library so we encourage you to plan accordingly.

I am not Catholic/Christian. Do I need to attend the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony is optional for you, but we would still love for you to be there to witness our beautiful union 💕

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! What's a wedding party without the booze? 🥂🍾 Although please do know your body’s limits, as we do not want any guests to be kicked out for public intoxication 🫢

I don't drink alcohol. Is there anything else I can do during cocktail hour?

Answer

We won't have milk, but we do have a rad vintage photobooth! Take some beautiful shots for you to take home! 📸 Please do ask the photographer for a copy to be pasted in our guest book 📖. It brings us so much joy seeing you had fun and we would love to read all your well wishes 🥰

Where's the after-party at?

Answer

We are 👵🏼👴🏽 introverts - meaning our energy tends to get drained by 10pm. Although we would love to keep the party going, feel free to check out Downtown Disney or nearby clubs without us... or you can secretly spike our drink with 5-hour energy (just kidding on the last part)
