We will only be a few months away from Christmas by the time you are here visiting for our wedding. This presents a fun opportunity to see a niche novelty that you can brag about to your friends and family every Christmas from now on. You can book a tour of THE Christmas Story Movie House! It should take about an hour and there are plenty of photo ops and a gift shop as well.

About 25-30 minutes outside of downtown is an entire shopping center for those who might want to have some retail therapy and a meal at a chain restaurant. There are even places to stay if you would enjoy this type of an experience.

Cedar Point is an hour away from Cleveland, so this would be an excursion as well as an all-day event for those who are making more of a trip out of our wedding. This amusement park is one of the top three in the States and is totally worth adding an extra day on to your trip if you can afford the time.
This is a just a catch-all for any waterfront area you can find to explore on Lake Erie. There are spots all over town with breathtaking views, places to take a walk/run, or picnic with the family. Waterfront restaurants, piers, and metro parks are peppered all over the city as well.

Super divey, local, hole-in-the-wall tavern that serves old world Eastern European comfort food. We came here when we were scoping out venues with our parents and had the "Ethnic Platter" and a few pints, making for a very relaxing evening.

Obviously there is no shortage of breweries in Cleveland but this one is unique and delicious. We came here after a long day of searching for venues with our parents and adored this place! The Scottish eggs are excellent and they make in-house syrups and liqueurs for amazing cocktails.
