If you have the time, you've got to check out the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. A legendary experience for any music lover. This will take several hours, so be sure to carve out a bigger portion of your day if you choose this activity.
A Christmas Story House
We will only be a few months away from Christmas by the time you are here visiting for our wedding. This presents a fun opportunity to see a niche novelty that you can brag about to your friends and family every Christmas from now on. You can book a tour of THE Christmas Story Movie House! It should take about an hour and there are plenty of photo ops and a gift shop as well.
Great Lakes Brewing Company
Karen has been drinking Great Lakes beer since she was 21! ;) Just kidding, it was long before then. The point is, GLB is a staple in Cleveland and the greater Ohio area and is always a fun stop for some food and a pint.
West Side Market
An adorable open market for those who want to find a quick bite or hang out for a while and peruse. This entire neighborhood is full of activities.
Market Square at Crocker Park
About 25-30 minutes outside of downtown is an entire shopping center for those who might want to have some retail therapy and a meal at a chain restaurant. There are even places to stay if you would enjoy this type of an experience.
Little Italy
This entire neighborhood is super walkable, historic, and full or incredible food.
Cedar Point
Cedar Point is an hour away from Cleveland, so this would be an excursion as well as an all-day event for those who are making more of a trip out of our wedding. This amusement park is one of the top three in the States and is totally worth adding an extra day on to your trip if you can afford the time.
Cleveland Harbor
This is a just a catch-all for any waterfront area you can find to explore on Lake Erie. There are spots all over town with breathtaking views, places to take a walk/run, or picnic with the family. Waterfront restaurants, piers, and metro parks are peppered all over the city as well.
Fat Cats
Funky restaurant with New American small and large plates.
Prosperity Social Club
Super divey, local, hole-in-the-wall tavern that serves old world Eastern European comfort food. We came here when we were scoping out venues with our parents and had the "Ethnic Platter" and a few pints, making for a very relaxing evening.
Slyman's Restaurant and Deli
A Cleveland institution for corned beef and deli classics.
Seti's Polish Boys
Food truck for glizzies and munchies ;)
Larder Delicatessen and Bakery
Located in a historic firehouse for a nice lunch of creative deli sandwiches and fare.
The Spotted Owl (Tremont)
An 1850's historical brick and salvaged wood space with clever cocktails, good vibes, and a chill divey atmosphere.
Lucky's Café
We came here the morning we left Cleveland when we were looking for venue prospects with our parents. The food is organic and farm-to-table and GUY FIERI put his official DDD stamp on it as well!
Market Garden Brewery
Obviously there is no shortage of breweries in Cleveland but this one is unique and delicious. We came here after a long day of searching for venues with our parents and adored this place! The Scottish eggs are excellent and they make in-house syrups and liqueurs for amazing cocktails.
Sokolowski's University Inn
This family owned landmark serves cafeteria style Polish classics. Get the pierogi!
Porco Lounge & Tiki Room
Tiki cocktails and colorful tiki vibes. Who wouldn't love that?
Cloak & Dagger
Antique gothic cocktail bar with vegan bites and super adventurous drinks.
Velvet Tango Room
Loungey jazz bar with leather soft seating and more of an upscale vibe.
