August 2012 - We both met while volunteering at Abingdon Volunteer Fire Department. Sam joined the company and needed someone to show her where everything was organized inside the ambulance. Tyler just so happened to be around the station and offered to help. April 2013 - Our first date was to go see a new movie "Identity Theif" September 2016 - We purchased our farm on Darlington. December 2016 - We rescued out first fur child, Boone. November 2017 - Engaged! Tyler popped the question in the loft of our barn. There were candles and rose petals for ambiance. Katie was hidden in the field to take pictures. The rest of the family was next door waiting to celebrate. September 2021 - We got our second fur baby, Sadie. October 2021 - Officially married! October 2022 - Wedding celebration with friends and family
