What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire: dresses (cocktail or more casual) dress top, dress pants, skirts, jumpsuits, suit, button-up shirt, blazer, slacks, dress pants, khaki's, flats, heels, dress shoes. Lao traditional attire: skirt (sinh), sash (pah bieng), blouse (traditional or non-traditional), dress shirt/long sleeve (traditional or non-traditional), dress pants.

What is the venue like?

Answer

We are getting married at a summer golf & country club. The ceremony and reception will take place indoors in a ballroom, but guests are more than welcome to mingle outside and to take pictures!

What is the smoking, food and beverage policy?

Answer

There is absolutely NO smoking or vaping inside the clubhouse. No food or alcoholic beverages or beverages of any type shall be brought into Indian Summer premises, including the parking lot and the golf course. No food, alcohol, or beverages of any kind are to be taken from the premises.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is ample complimentary parking. Parking is also available across the street near the Antidote Spa & Salon.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the venue also allows the use of their golf carts for any guests who may need them.

Can videos and pictures be taken during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, but keep in mind that we will have a professional photographer as well as a videographer. We kindly ask our guests to please respect their space.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless a plus one was specifically noted on your invitation, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. If you have any questions or would like to bring a plus one that is not listed on your invitation, please feel free to reach out to us. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations we are only allowing immediate family members and very close family friends to bring their children. We are asking our guests to please not bring their children unless specifically named on the invitation. We thank you for understanding.

Do you have a gift/wedding registry?

Answer

At this time, we only have a honeymoon cash fund which can be found in the 'Registry' section on our wedding website. You may bring a gift to the venue if you wish!

What is the dinner menu?

Answer

Dinner Buffet: Fresh garden salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and a choice of dressings; garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables sauté; roasted pork loin in a mushroom cream sauce with fresh herbs; chef carved tri-tip of beef served with au jus. Dessert: NY Style Cheesecake with fresh berry coulis

Will there be a hosted bar?

Answer

Yes, each guest over the age of 21 will be handed 3 drink tickets at the time of entry. This means three free drinks on the bride and groom. Guests are responsible for paying for their own alcoholic beverages after the drink tickets have been used.

Have you booked hotel room blocks?

Answer

We are not booking any hotel room blocks. However, we have listed hotel options in the 'Travel' section on our website. We also suggest looking at Airbnb.

Question

When is the deadline to RSVP

Answer

The last day to RSVP is June 1st, 2024. If there has been no response by this date, guests will automatically be considered as 'will not be attending.' We want to ensure there is adequate food and seating. We greatly appreciate guests who can RSVP at their earliest convenience!
