Flight
You can fly direct from LHR to Beirut with MEA (our recommendation) or BA. A taxi from the airport to Hamra, Downtown, Achrafiyeh or Gemmayzeh should cost no more than US$25 (LL40,000). You can also pre-book online with taxi companies such as White Taxi or Lebanon Taxi.
Travel Note
You can use Careem (Lebanese version of Uber) or Uber to get around the city, take day trips and get to the wedding venue. Avoid jumping in the service taxi's, they probably won't speak English!
House Or Rental
This is the most reasonable option for staying in Beirut. There are lots of options from $40-$100 a night. Most apartments are two bedrooms.
