I was at a wedding when a tall, beautiful stranger asked me why a beautiful woman such as myself was at a party alone. He had the most amazing smile. I laughed trying hard not to blush and thus began the most interesting conversation of my life. It was the last first date of our lives.

The very best place is in the arms of the one you love, and even more so when you’re watching a movie or just cuddling during a storm. Three days before I was set to leave Abuja, lying in Sheriff’s arms as the rain fell outside he asked me, “Is this something you would want to come home to everyday?” I smiled as he kissed my temple and simply said “yes, everyday.”
